Frédéric Macarez is Director of Percussion Studies at the Paris Conservatory and Percussion Professor at the IESM in Aix en Provence. 

He is a sought-after clinician, working with students around the world. In addition, Frédéric Macarez is the founder and director of the international percussion festival in Paris "PerKumania" which he directed for 13 years. He is also director of the International Competition of PAS instruments in Paris and director of the contest "PerKu en Herbe" for very young musicians.


Frédéric Macarez is a clinician and teacher. He regularly performs in Europe, the United States, South America and Asia (Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore) and has visited the world's leading schools.
